Over the last decade, the process of creating multimedia has been revolutionized. The days of behemoth machines, teams of technicians and multimillion dollar facilities is over. It is now possible to create top level projects using off the shelf machinery and software. The playing field has been leveled. Creativity, not machinery, is now the calling card by which people can be known.

Theoretically, a few guys could set up a professional level studio in a shed in their back yard. Or more specifically, in a bungalow on the edge of a rock quarry. A bungalow humming and buzzing with electronics, Macs and more than its fair share of musical instruments.

Rocky farm, what’s that mean? The fact is: we are building our business on a rock. Physically and Spiritually. No, we’re not some sort of polished pebble company for people that can’t feed a goldfish (though that line does beckon). Let’s break down the name:

Rocky: We’re built on rocks, our ethical and moral decisions are based on a solid set of guidelines.

Farm: Our aim is to produce. Just like Uncle Jake’s cucumber farm, we’re independent from the mainstream. That being the case, we are relatively free from the sorts of pressures that may come up in a field like this. Field, produce…get it? This analogy keeps clicking!

Let’s sum it up. Rocky Farm Studio means a couple things: quality work, independence from the mainstream, and a casual but productive work ethic.
